Welcome Home Cafe

We had the most amazing breakfast at this cafe!! The omelettes with potatoes were outstanding!! Service was exceptional and the staff were so friendly! Really enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back! Great job!!

Cute place to eat breakfast, wish I know about it sooner, seating is small but the food is worth the wait. They even have some fresh flowers on the table as well. The staff is really kind and they move fast. The breakfast wrap is really good and so are the grits. The meat options are beef and turkey only. Stop by here! #food #breakfast #brunch

First time here! The food was good. It’s small so space is limited. For brunch the prices are a bit higher than other places nearby. Everyone order was fresh and hot. The wait is a bit but the food is good so it’s worth the wait.

Outstanding! Everything was on point from the cleanliness, the service, and the food. Lisa was outstanding. The tables were thoroughly cleaned as was the restroom. Coffee was piping hot. The waffle was fluffy and crispy around the outer edge. The eggs were very fresh and the french toast casserole was scrumptious and delicious. The meats were also very good and cooked just right. The grits? They were smooth, creamy and buttery. Every item was flavorful. There was nothing bland on our plates. I highly recommend eating here and would definitely like to return to try other menu items.

An impromptu brunch suggested by my bestie led us to Welcome Home Cafe on Tuesday June 3rd. We were welcomed by Ms Stephanie and greeted by our server, Ms Lisa. Both were amazing. I thought I would just have coffee, but I’m a sucker for a “ great menu”. Bestie and I started with the Beets & Berries smoothie….Perfecto. I settled on the Salmon BLT w/ Avocado and bestie ordered the Loaded Cajun Sweet Potato , Kale Caesar salad and later the Ginger Lemon Mint iced tea. Everything was absolutely delicious. I’ve had Salmon sandwiches at other places that were tough pieces of overcooked salmon meat BUT Welcome Home Cafes Salmon BLT was fresh, tender salmon with gently prepared Turkey bacon all on a Brioche roll. Hands down, the best salmon sandwich I’ve ever had! I also sampled the Loaded Sweet Potato w/ jerk chicken and pineapple mango, that Jawn was slammin’ yeah, another “ hands down “ winner. Oh, the the lemon, ginger, mint tea was a welcome refreshing balanced drink. As we ate I watched some of the plates coming front the kitchen, the one that caught my eye was the “ grilled vegetable sandwich “. That’s for my next visit. The atmosphere warm friendly and actually felt like being at a “ good” friends place. It’s a hidden gem in Jenkintown, I’m so happy that bestie suggested going AND that I don’t live far. My husband and I stopped in here on our way home from a long morning of appointments at fox chase. I was desperately in need of some coffee and food and I think we have our new go-to place for our way home now, the food was that good. I ordered coffee and the turkey ham and cheese quiche, and my husband got the chicken and waffles. The quiche was absolutely delicious, and came with a side of grits that were some of the best grits I’ve ever had; they were creamy and flavorful and just perfect. I almost finished them. My husband ate every bite of his chicken and waffles (although he shared one with me) and he loved them. Looking around at what everyone else ordered I am looking forward to coming back to try some of the other things on the menu; the shrimp and grits looked out of this world! On top of that, the woman who greeted/sat us was so nice and welcoming, overall it was a lovely experience.

Breakfast here is amazing! This place a small and a tight squeeze but worth the wait and tight seating. The atmosphere is friendly and so is the staff. I ordered the breakfast wrap, which came with eggs, cheese, beef bacon, and potatoes inside. It also came with a side of grits but I’m personally not a fan of grits. Also I think grits don’t work with this meal, I need up getting a side of salsa with it which paired perfectly with this wrap. The wrap was delicious!! I was in the mood for a breakfast sandwich but I went with the wrap and I wasn’t disappointed. The table next to me ordered the chicken and waffles and it smelt amazing and I’m sadden that I don’t have time to come back and try it. The amounts of food are a good size for the price. I loved everything about my experience. This is a great place for breakfast, not for a large party but great for couples, singles, and co-workers. By the way if you are looking for parking make sure to go around back behind the building, there is a good amount of parking there. If you liked this review please give it a like. Enjoy.

This was my fiancé and I first time dining in at Welcome Home Cafe. It's a small eatery that serves delicious breakfast and lunch!! The fish and grits is a must try, very flavorful. ( I normally add hot sauce to my fried fish, but today I ate my food just as it was prepare so that I could enjoy the seasoning.) Will definitely return!
